Camelot investors: Suckers?

"Thanks...the funny thing about this is that I already AM out of it on a financial level. The new owners brought on the funding and players will get their checks next week..."

First it was Friday, but whatever...

How can a guy that pissed away all your money just up and get *out* of it like that?

Has he no concern for the money that needs to be made up?

Are his investors suckers?

If so, will they bail out like the first 'investor'?

Was their really a investor, or did Mark just take a shot with everyone's money?

Are all Mark's biz associates the type to bail out when things get a little tough? Sure seems like it it.

How many things were NOT disclosed to the new investors? After all, this is Mark Del the liar we're talking about.

How long will the new investors last once certain UNdisclosed issues become disclosed.

Is Mark really capable of pulling out of his own million dollar whole?

Do you plan to stick around to find out? If so, why?

Lots of questions...no one should ever expect the truth. It's coming from Mark Del.

Look f*ckface, checks sent out on Friday tend to arrive the following week, as in Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday depending on one's locale, so stop trying to spin people's words on them. I love gutless f*cks like you who wouldn't have the BALLS to face the music the way I have for the past week, let alone the integrity not to run off when there WAS tons of money in the bank. The bottom line is I did what I had to do to get everybody paid, I did that and got nothing out of it for myself except peace of mind. With all due respect I think you are way to defensive towards Mark Del and the issues. And as Gringo said there are valid questions posters have that are not being answered. Mark Del's Character and honesty are not in question here are they? I don't think so. I think some posters are a little to hard on the guy but come on if this was any other book and the main guy did'nt post here would we be so gentle?

You guys are right, I jumped the gun. I also shouldn't have said that because I think that anyone can figure out that this guy is probably Lou. I do agree, censorship is wrong when it comes to this place.....I of all people should know that since I had a post deleted many many months ago about a book and it pissed me off. So, Joe I retract my statement and favor letting the thread stand.

Haven't noticed you around much before. Do you have an account with Camelot? Have you ever played with Camelot? Or are you just here to try to stir up some BS? Just curious. BTW, Yogi couldn't answer yes to either of those questions, too. IF you have an account with Camelot I would think you'd like for Mark to turn things around. If you don't then your opinions mean nada in this case. You're entitled to them of course, but they're just hot air if you don't have any cash at stake. You're just another low post rabble rouser with a hard on for Mark. And those we've got plenty of. good luck to you.

1. I thought someone should buy out our position because we had nearly 2,000 customers, 400 of whom were active. Even in light of the large deficit position, there is value in such a package. Before I told people of the deficit position, I shopped around a hypothetical pakcage of 2,000 customers, 400 of whom were active, doing "X" million per month in volume with 1 million postup on hand. Every sportsbook I contacted placed the value of that hypothetical book at somewhere between 2 and 3 million dollars, meaning they would hand me around 2.5 million and I would hand them the sportsbook plus 1 million in postup. BUT...when you take the exact same package MINUS the postup, it is suddenly worth almost nothing...???? Well where is the logic in that??? As it turns out, someone new to the offshore business, but with an extensive background in the business, agreed with my interpretation and not the interpretation of some of the existing sportsbooks out there. The value to an operator without an existing base was obviously higher than the value to someone with an existing customer base. That makes sense...and believe me...it was the only thing that made sense in any of the negotiations I engaged in.

Basically, others were telling me the following:

1. A + B + C = ABC
2. A + B = nothing

I did not think it was anyone's obligation to bail us out. I thought it was in their best long term interest individually, and it was in the best collective interest of the industry. We owed about 1/25th of the money Aces Gold owes and our asking price was ZERO, all we wanted was an assumption of player balances which was less than a million dollars overall.
