Whats the strangest excuse a sportbook has ever given you for giving you the runaround?

A few I have found rather odd but probably true...Calling the third world nations they can get pretty creative

Phonelines down ....BLAMING IT ON "SUNSPOTS"

The one that I have heard personally on a few occasions....These 'midday holidays" where everyone goes to the street for the afternoon?
I don`t know if its true but more than one book has told me this story

I've had all of the following:

- bank giving them a hard time
- changing banks
- expecting a wire REAL soon
- unexpected large volume of withdrawals
- hurricane
- local holiday delaying transfer
- US holiday delaying transfer
- certain key person out of town
- new policy requiring more info.
- new law requiring more info.
- FedEx is not picking up from them because of hurricane 2 weeks ago

There were probably more but these are all that come to mind at the moment
