Correction about Jay Cohen

i think someone earlier asked what is the earliest Jay Cohen can get out from behind bars. i think i posted right about now - or within a few months.

i have now come to learn that is NOT right.

the earliest he can get out is Feb, 04 - or about 6 months from now.

is anyone going to see jay next week when a lot of us are in vegas? shrink - i would almost say it is a lock you are going to see him. if so - and you need directions e-mail me (as well as about the Joe D ball - and you have very little time for that one).

Jay Cohen's release date is 4/22/04. He will be released to a halfway house in early Feb04. Most federal inmate information is available at www.bop.gov

If anyone plans on visiting Jay when you are in vegas you should know that you must be on his visitors list. In addition, you must complete a form and submit it for approval prior to your visit. You will not be allowed to see him unless this form is approved by the institution.

***if you haven't taken steps already to see him (for the party next week) - don't bother trying to ask. the paperwork takes a few seeks - and even if it didn't - he can only change his visitors list every quarter - and i believe he can't make any changes until september or october. if you are like me - and have already seen him - you don't need to fill out any more paperwork - you only need to do it once.
