i dont think they can.

tonight was a perfect example of why. with a tired bullpen, grover wouldnt let moss come out to start the 8th inning.

the result was travis driskill giving up 3 runs before ever recording an out.

moss was pitching well. his pitch count wasnt too bad, around 100. in a tie game, there was no reason to at the very least not let him START the 8th inning.

simply pathetic.

Its not grover`s fault his owner is garbage...Grover had one of the best teams ever assembled back in 1995 100-44 regular season...That Cleveland team took a back seat to no one on offense...

Kenny Lofton (prime)
Manny Ramirez
Eddie Murray
Jim Thome
Carlos Baerga (prime)

Looking back this team doesn`t look quite as dominant as it was, because Baerga and Lofton tapered off considerably shortly thereafter..THIS TEAM COULD SCORE ALOT OF RUNS! And Hargrove had no problem winning 100 games in a 144 game season, this team would have won 112-114 regular season games ...

Hargrove has blown at least 4 games this putting Driskell in there at any point besides when they need long relief when behind early in a game.

Driskell sucks!

Hargrove never lets his starters go that long..i remember in cleveland ..that guy Jared Wright used to go 5 or 6 innings max every damn game giving up 3 to 6 runs..and then he would go 12-5 for the year and everyone thinks he is the next Roger Clemens....

Hargrove doesn't know how to use his pitchers..never has.
