Idea for a 'live" chat discussion(Q&A) with Offshore books on certain nights

Would it be possible on certain nights to schedule a different book to come into the chat room here and have a Q&A session for like an hour or 2?

I think this would be great exposure for that book and get alot of questions answered quikly.

If everyone get's in line and 1-2 Mods keep the questions in order, it could go good?

Has the RX attempted somthing like this before?

Just an FYI, I was asking a question in this thread, but not one of the RX staff could oblige a response, isn't that funny...

Cheater - I missed this but replied to the one I saw from Batista. He admitted it was your idea. Anyway I have already posted about it on the boardroom and everyone likes it. There is something we have to update I think on the chat feature but already working on it.

Very good idea, I used to enjoy them myself as a gambler. Last one I remembered was when Joe used to do them when he was here.

Just got home from work..

Here is my "justification"

General, first off I believe a book would love to have the attention of many gamblers in a chat discussion in a live venue, it would spot light their book and would be great PR for them.

Second, Many times you have to wait days for a response from a book, but in this case you would get an immidiate response from an eduacated spokesman of the book.

Third, when you ask books questions and they have to respond quickly and professionally, in an intelligant manner this sperates the "pro's" from the BS'er's.

Fourth, The chat room bring's thing's back to a more personable level (I feel) rather then posting and getting a robotic response.

Fifth, many questions, or concerns would get answered very quikly.

General, to tell you the truth, I find my self saying, why the hell am I justifying this idea, like it matters, either you do it or you don't and my guess is you won't, but oh well.

Oh and I realize how precious postings are and hit's, so that may be the reasoning behind a rejection of the idea?

Cheater - has nothing to do with hits, come on man. If anything it will increase them. I loved the idea and brought it up the first time but the chat wasn't working then. They told me wait until it was working again, it is now so I appreciate the heads up. Almost everyone liked the idea but it takes a little work and effort to get it up and going. Don't know if you remember the early one's Joe would do but it took a few times to get the kinks out. I would probably guess the week-end after we all get back from Vegas is what I would shoot for. I like this idea a lot and am all but positive we will get this up and going. Especially with football coming around. I had talked to Shrink on it already and it will be easy to get a rep from the books to particpate, just need to figure out the best way to run it in chat.

If I explain what bonus package we offer or rules on them , I hope you find this ok. That is what this forum is all about right, keeping the player informed with honest info. Keep up the good work.
