900Pay.....anyone ever use this deposit method??

Just noticed that First Fidelity now offers a new deposit method known as 900Pay. Basically, you get billed as a 900 number on your phone bill.

Has anyone else used this method before, and if so, what are your thoughts? Reliable? How does the bill show up on your phone bill??? (In other words, is wife gonna see...ONLINE WAGERING DEPOSIT on the bill....LOL)

Any feedback appreciated

I was just checking their website http://navahonetworks.com but the faq is not active yet. I guess you're billed just as if you dialed a hot line!!

Thats an interesting work around. Can you imagine if all options are cut off, all of us spending an 10 minutes on the phone at $100 a minute to deposit a dime?

Maybe, but this opens up new bonus avenues for creative books. As long as they have us on the line depositing at 100 bucks a minute, they could run a "free phone sex while you deposit" promotion.

Brings a whole new meaning to the term bonus whore

I've used 900 Pay at a couple of books.

First off you don't get billed per minute as each call has a set charge.

Secondly you are limited to how much you can deposit per month with the service so no you can't run up huge deposits.

I believe the limit is $300 a month & some books might allow lower then that to be deposited via this method.

Some books that use 900 pay include

Intertops
BetCBS
Cybersportsbook

Question: Once you have deposited into the book using 900 Pay and later want to cash out, does the book require a copy of paid phone bill first or does the 900 Pay company notify them?


I hope we don't loose Neteller.

I know Cris requires a copy of the phone bill that the charges appear on & a receip showing it was paid but some of their employees claim they check themselves which I don't believe as the phone company wouldn't give them squat for info.

I can see where that might be a problem. You deposit on August 10th--Pay next month's phone bill on line in early Sept. Then have to waot for the bill to arrive at the end of the next month to show no previous balance due. (Better than nothing I guess--but gives a book plenty of room to make excuses. (Maybe if you waited a year to cash out they might not ask for the phone bill--LOL)

I hear you can't get paid until you can provide your paid tel. bill. Has anyone else heard that?
