The way I see it - he certainly can't fuk up the Californian budget any worse

And Arnolds a pretty humane guy - VERY, VERY active with charities ...

Clearly he's not experienced, but given all the rats running around Washington I'm all for as many good guys as we can get.

Arnold doesn't excite me to much, I doubt he can do much to save the sinking ship. Actually the dems will probably rewrite history and blame this 40 BILLION in the hole on Bush, since Arnolds a republican.

The problem with California is the flood of illegal immigrants sucking off the socialist state. Until a Governor of California is willing to step up and cut off the the illegal immigrants it will be more of the same.

Lets face it, California is in JUNK bond status and their debt load is more than all the other US states combined. Arnolds not going to cut off all the welfare and freebies. California will be totally broke in 5 years, there's no way around it. The other states that are not socialist will just pay more and more taxes to bail them out.

Maybe in 10 years when the taxpayers are sick of socialism something will change.

I'm curious ...

The Republicans say that a President cannot make/break an ecomony (ok, they only say this when a Republic President is destroying the economy), but now a Democratic Governer can destory the economy?

Funny, how the rules change right down the bi-partisan ways.

For the record I believe they should BOTH be ousted.

The Federal Reserve has the largest impact on the national economy. A governor has much greater control over spending and maintaining a budget.

Out,
Can you read buddy?

"For the record I believe they should BOTH be ousted."

If you read into this .. ahem, think outside your close NeoCon box .. you'd see that I HOLD THEM BOTH responsible. Davis is responsible for $40,000,000,000 worth of debt (more or less) in CA & bush is responsible for $300,000,000,000 woth of debt in the US.

Landerski,
Who approves the spending for the US government?

I agree Federal spending is in run away mode though. The Repulicrats have done little to stop it.

They're broke cash wise, however with bond schemes and such they'll keep the boat floating some what and then they'll cry for a Federal bailout eventually.
