Ok, I know parlays any more than 3 teams are considered "sucker bets", but this still seems like a good offer...Original Message from site

GameDay Parlay Refunds
This is an offer you will not find anywhere!

If all your teams lose in a 5 Team Parlay or greater you will receive a FREE Parlay of equal or lesser value.

You're wrong. 3, and especially 2 team parlays are sucker bets as well, except in extremely specific situations.

Bet to win, not to lose.
I would take a Pass and concetrate on winnable bets.
Just my opinion.

Big deal ..

Parlay Betting (also known as Mutliples or Combos)

GameDay Sportsbook is proud to offer the most comprehensive Parlay selection available today. Parlays, also known as Multiples or Combos, are a very exciting way for the sports betting enthusiast to WIN VERY LARGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY WITH VERY LIMITED RISK!.

Simply put, a parlay is a bet of 2 or more teams (selections) or propositions in no particular order. All teams wagered on in a parlay must win. If there is a tie, it reverts down to the next lowest number for payoff. For 2 team parlays, a tie and win becomes a straight bet payout.

At GameDay, you may include up to 12 Selections in your parlays, all sports included. This means that you can make one parlay card with a combination of all your favorite sports! These wagers can be placed very easily online or by telephone at GameDay.

Please Note: No parlay bets will be accepted where individual "selections" are connected. For example, one leg of a parlay is for Sampras to beat Henman in the 4th round of Wimbledon and the second or additional part of the parlay is for Sampras to win the overall Wimbledon title. The match forms part of the overall tournament and is therefore 'connected'. In the same way, you cannot parlay the over of the first half of a football game with the over of the total game, because the two are 'connected'

Football and Basketball Parlay Payoffs

Selections Payout Odds
2 13 to 5
3 6 to 1
4 11.5 to 1
5 22 to 1

You have a 1 in 32 shot of hitting the 5 teamer, and they refund they only pay 22:1 ....

even with the 5 teams refrund you're still getting paid 22:1, where the odds are now 1 in 31

Couldn't you parlay in a bunch of big big dogs like +1000 to +5000 and basically get a free shot?

Not really - because ALL the underdogs would have to win in order to benefit. If at least one loses, then you're out money.

I see no value in this option. And no reason for me to be motivated about playing a parlay because of it.

Here are my thoughts...

The odds of hitting all 5 games are the same as losing all 5 games (3.125%)...therefore, you will be given a "free" play 3.125% of the time, then you must HIT a 5 teamer which also has a 3.125% probability to receive any value...therefore, the expected value is .03125 * .03125 = .000977 = .0977%

Obviously, this benefit is strictly a marketing ploy with very little risk/cost to the company, and virtually no benefit to a player...

I agree with thrill, this offer is practically worthless. If they offered it on 3 teamers ( like betaustralia did for a few weeks last year ) it'd be great ( LOL ) but then I can't play parlays or teasers at GD anymore anyway so it is moot for me!

Happy Hour is worthwhile, IMO, if they continue it!

Dont see Gameday of the list no more. Are they still endorsed by the rx or have they gone bad?
Why arent they on the mainpage?
