JJ is right.. overall, nobody comes even close to Hill.. they are the biggest bookie in the world.. They make the caribian bookmakers look very small..

Guys-
Could someone give us an estimate as to how large a customer base we are talking about for some of these books?
500, 1000, 5000, 10000, 20000 etc?

Also, is this active weekly customers or just players in the database?

I'm just talking ballpark estimates to get a feel for how big is BIG.

That book patrick used to have sportsbook.com is probly the one. Only because of the name though.

You are not even close with any of your numbers.. Willhill have way over 1/2 Mill customers just from the Internet and phonebetting.. And you can then add to that over 2000 bettingshops all over the UK.. And these numbers go up for every day.. They have been in business since 1934.

They employ over 10.000 people and have an turn-over that excess $2.5 billion(last year).

I belive that Ladbrokes are a pretty close second, and the Coral group or Sportingbet group number 3 worldwide..

None of the caribian books can even be compared to these UK book giants..

Carribean books including Pinnacle are small time compared to UK books, they are not even in the same league. It is like comparing little leagues to the majors.

I would agree that macau slot is the biggest in terms of online and telephone. If you look at their Alexa rating it is 328 or so which is better than any other book in the world bar none. In terms of actual customers Ladbrokes and William Hill in the UK are huge. US books are small in comparison
