As a Giants fan, I am not as excited as everyone else seems to be. Yes, Sidney is having a good year but unless the guy loses his next 8 starts this will be the first year he's had a record over .500. The guy is having a good year so far but RPM is right next year he will be 8-10 with a 4.7 ERA again.
Hopefully he will continue his good year for the rest of this year then the Giants won't resign him.

Being a Giant fan, I think this is huge! Yes, this is Ponson’s first solid year but the kid can pitch. I think he finishes this year strong and becomes one of the better pitchers in the NL. It took him a few years to develop but I think SF is just the place for him to excel….
