Unbelievable Bad Luck

Last night I placed a wager on Mike Hampton to throw over 96/ pitches. The game is in the top of the 7th and Hampton bats in the inning so I know I will win the bet because Hampton has already thrown 94 pitches and all he has to do is throw 3 pitches in the bottom of the inning. Hampton places a bunt and runs outside of the first base line and is automatically ruled out. Hampton argues and is thrown out of the game thus he is unable to pitch the next inning. Can anyone share an unlucky wager with me to cheer me up you know they say misery loves company.

That's a tough beat. Better luck today and forward. Put it behind you and move on.

Good luck

I've had it happen many times that my over was already made in the 6th or 7th inning, and the game gets shortened because of rain thus cancelling my bet.

Another that happens a lot to me: I have a bet on the away team + 1.5 on the runline. Game goes into extra innings and the home team wins by more than one run because of a home run with men on base.

These are not so remarkable as yours but rest assured you're not the only one who gets bad beats.

Where did u place this bet? Just curious, I had never heard an over/under on the total pitches thrown. Sounds like an interesting proposition.

Thanks,

SLOUCH
