In my opinion, a sports book has every right to freeze a gambler's account for as long as it takes them to they decide how much bonus money was scammed from them through the use of multiple accounts...

Come on Halifax, you are better than just being one of the talking heads repeating everything you hear. Though it was a serious issue Jman decided to have a little fun with it AND hopefully contain most of it to one thread. We knew Sick wanted to speak on it and he also let others ask questions of him. This was not a formal RX trial with binding arbitration involved. I am sure Rio was not worried about what these guys here decided and will do their own investigation.

Admittedly the verdict of not guilty was very surprising to me. The fact that it was unanimous is even more surprising. SG however was judged by a group of his peers who put much time and effort in this venture without receiving no stipend whatsoever. It is the responsibility of this forum to support the verdict. Anything else would be hypocritical.
In all seriousness, this is the point I am trying to get across:
You seem very concerned about teaching the newer bettors such things as choosing a book based on the book's quality and not simply on the size of the bonus, proper money management, etc.
On the other hand, this trial thread is the most viewed thread at the Rx in quite some time. With the so-called jurors almost unanimously saying that what Sick did was not outside the boundaries of the law, it doesn't deliver a very good message.
Sure the thread is entertaining - Sick is one of the most entertaining posters there is (and he was also quite helpful in the past on some gambling-related questions that I put to him), but I think it's important that at some point, you make a statement that setting up a bonus scheme like this just ain't kosher with the sportsbooks.

Hal - again, I haven't read the thread. I had no idea you or anyone else would think that would be an official investigation. LOL. I doubt Ken read it either. I am positive Rio will dig into it and make the decision they feel is right. At that point I am willing to discuss anything you want. As far as stopping all formal findings of the matter because Jman and his court find the guy innocent is a little foolish.
If you are saying more than this I am not following you. To say we have a no pay situation is absolutely ridiculous and you know it. When/if you want to really help players I appreciate it, I don't have time for board politics or this sort of stuff. Rio has froze his account(s) pending formal investigation.
