The new gold card not the blue card.

Have you tried to transfer $1000 (daily max) to the debit card yet?

I just tried and they would not let me do over 500.00... I call NETeller and they couldn't help today but said they would have to check with FSV.

I hope the limit is NOT 500 now at a fee of 2 dollars per pop.

I'm thinking about getting the NETeller debit card. What's the difference between gold and blue? And they said the inactive fee only counts if you have a balance on your card. So if I didn't transfer any money into it, it wouldn't cost me anything. Is this correct?

Also can you take out up to $1000 as they say? You are only talking about transferring the money into the card not using an ATM machine, right?

As soon as I refund back whatever debit card deposits I have left and have $15 more than uncleared suicide EFT's, I'm getting it.

DD,

The gold card is a replacement for the older blue card (I think). I received the gold one in the mail last week and was told to destroy the blue one.

I could make a 1000.00 transfer from my acct to the blue card for a 2.00 fee. But could only get 500 from atm per day.

Frank,

Please do report back any news from NETeller.

As usual, the NETeller site is a bit fuzzy details.

What are the total fees to use the atm card? Does the NETeller card work with any machines that allow you to get a free withdrawal from the ATM?

-$2 Max fee to transfer $500 or $1,000 to your NETeller debit card. Is this done through the NETeller website?

-What is the fee at the ATM physcial ATM machine that spits out cash?

I transfered $500 on Monday and then tried another 400 on tuesday and the website said I had to wait 24hrs to do the transfer. After 24 hrs it went through no problem. It is strange because it states 1000 per 24 hours, but then only let me do 500. I called but they could only take a message and have someone call back. Nobody called back and I blew it off since I got me money.

It also states when transfering money eft to neteller that it takes 1 to 2 days. Then when you do it it states 4 to 5 business days.

I wish they would be consistant.

Frank I have several U.S. bank accounts and have ATM cards for most of them and I can only withdraw $400 MAX per day from ATMs. I think the banking industry as a whole has a limit on ATM withdraw to protect people from robbery etc.

So a $500 withdraw per day MAX is actually very good.

What did you expect? Do you think NETeller can do things most banks can't?

FatFrank - I wasn't aware that NETeller was posting that you could withdraw $1000 via ATM's on their website.

I don't think that is possible in the U.S. as ATM's are restricted for banks.

What is the MAX your Credit Union let's you withdraw per day via ATM Frank?

My wife's Credit Union only allows ALL account holder $300 MAX via ATM's

They aren't...

I'm talking about withdrawing 1K from my NETeller acct and depositing/loading my NETeller debit card. That is the way NETeller does it and they charge a fee to do it.

AFTER THAT...

Then comes taking the $$ out of an ATM and ANOTHER fee.

I know that when using my debit card even though I have an ability to take out $1000 a day at almost any atm I go to I can only take out $500 at a time. So if I want 1000 I have to make two different withdrawls. Seems stupid but I guess it is for our own protection so the bank says. The only place I know that I can get out more than $500 per transaction is at the casinos.

Frank...

I haven't tried the Gold card yet...

I used the Blue card at an ATM last week and took out $1000.
It took 3 withdrawals because of the $400 limit but on one ATM I took out $1000.

I can add that from my experience with Neteller customer service, they are normally one of the best around!!
I wish the books had as good as customer service

So if they said they needed to look in to the situation, I would bet that is what they are doing.
