OK, point #2, that you postulate is KNOWLEDGE OF THE GAME.. But what do we mean "knowledge of the Game?"

S. Well, everyone can look at a game and see the scores and results and see when a team played well and scored 40 points. What I’m saying is they must look at it all a little deeper. They must understand all the complexities. For instance a team might win by 20, and if they know the game they’ll know that if that coach wanted to lay on a heavy score that team was capable of winning by 40. So in actuality that was not a 20 point victory but it was a 40 point victory. They must put their own insight into it and realize what went in to the game. Something hidden. Maybe a coach didn’t’ want to win by 40 but held out his better players because he had a very important game the following week. Knowing that, you say to yourself that this team is even better than what the score shows because coach sound so and so held his best players out the last period because of the important game coming up. That is what I mean by knowledge of the game rather than just the scores. .

J. For another perspective you often hear the wise guy term"No team is as bad as they may look are or as good as they may appear."
J. OK, so you’re saying you have to get a little deeper into it. OK point #3 states (to be continued)
