Dear Customer,
It has been brought to our attention that former employees Robbie and Paul have begun soliciting current and past Diamond Sports/Vegas Intl customers. It is our understanding that they are attempting to mislead customers into believing that they are associated with DSI/Vegas Intl. We are not affiliated in any way with these two men or in any schemes or proposals that they are now, or will attempt to promote in the future.

These two men were dismissed from employment with us in May 2003 for embezzlement and misappropriation of company funds. DSI has never and will never sell or trade customer lists and records. Therefore, it is apparent that Robbie and Paul have also stolen private client information for their own personal gain.

We at Diamond Sportsbook International would like to apologize to you, our customer, for any inconvenience or concern this situation may have caused. Our goal at DSI is to offer the best possible gaming experience within a fair and regulated environment.

Now in our 13th football season, the future looks bright for Diamond Sportsbook. During the past couple months we've integrated Vegas International into our operation. Your account number, passwords, balance, and wagers have always been maintained and backed 100% by DSI. Wagering and other 800 numbers also remain the same. To log in, use your existing account number through our www.2betdsi.com website.

We have recently relocated our company headquarters into the most modern and technologically advanced offices in the country. Our business is running more efficiently and reliably than ever and we are looking forward to serving you.

We would be happy to answer any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have. Please give us a call at 877-223-8374, or you can reach us via email at info@2betdsi.com.

Thank you and have a great season,

Grantt,
I received that e-mail about 20 times last night as I was saying in my WTF thread.Late last night I decided to call a friend who works down stairs in the building that housed the DSI crew till their departure, only to see if she knew anything about this e-mail and the current situation.

My friend had a few things she could tell me from a person who did work for that company before the execution began a month or so ago.
Here what I found out.Vegas Intl was started by the guys who left DSI and all those clients were taken with them upon the exit,so I can't see why the e-mailer says those clients were stolen from the book.Does the DSI e-mail state it was a sister book created by them(P&R) and payed out by both?.I can't find it written in there.Secondly she said that she wouldn't work for a company based on lies and promisees and R & P left because they got hung out to dry for over 200K in personal payments.

She did say by what she understands they took any heat from the USA FEDS so the top brass could hide out in Europe and were promised a nice piece of the pie under contract and never got it,thus the larger amount above.

I know there's always 2 sides to a story but who the **** cares anyway,if they would only concentrate on looking after what they have why waste time while other books gobble gobble your customers.
Grantt, I found this stuff very commical but hell I wanted to know why DSI was spamming me like crazy and now I understand what I call "a down stairs insiders view of the situation".

Man is it football season yet?

Time to walk the dog!!

While there are at least 2 sides to every story,
the BM's in CR are siding with DSI on this one.

I don't think the 2 kids who left DSI will get any support from the established crowd and I don't think they have the financial wherewithall to stand alone and write any big amount of business.

No doubt. I wouldn't touch either of them, especially not the new guys.

+ No support from established money shops in CR that could help in case a cash injection was needed makes doesn't help.

Sources tell me these kids were blood related to one of the owners.

Joey, that is correct, Paul is the Nephew of the main guy at DSI, everyone knows there are 2 sides to every story but I think Paul and Robbie got a raw deal here, they were promised the world and when the main guys were being eyed by the Feds they became paranoid and made Robbie and Paul the scapegoats, nice way to treat family huh?

Chips:

Don't really know who got the raw deal here.

Guess it's a matter of perception.

But when I see 40% type of bonuses being offered by any book, it's a scary thing.

Chips, you're a definate offshore veterano.

Do you agree or not?

Remember, its a 40% match play bonus, not a cash bonus. Still a bit on the high side, but not so outrageous for for an intial deposit bonus prior to the begining of football.

I agree Joey, 40% bonuses is a definate red flag for me, but if its a one time deal I can live with it, but if its a ongoing bonus stay away. I am in no way endorsing their new book, because I dont know what kind of money is behind them, but I do think they were treated unfairly.

Marc / Chips:

I don't wish anyone new bad. Every book started out as a new one.

From what I understand, these kids don't have the financial backing to take a few bad football weeks.

Perhaps with a great exception, I wouldn't play with ANY NEW BOOK.

I'm a good customer..well I think because at the same time I can be a pain in the ....
Yes I was a customer with DSI, more precisely with Vegas Intl, only one reason why I was there...Robbie. He always tried to make special deal with me, I was able to talk to him and discuss a deal. When all the shit happen, I was stuck with some teenager that didnt know shit about me...
It didnt took me very long, when I received the email from Robbie and Paul to just ask for a payout and go with them.
The first thing that Robbie told me was...what took you so long..!!!
DSI are focus on the money, focus on making you loose with no special deal, no talking...."we are sorry thats our rule" Well stick with it and nobody will stay with you.
Anyway, when I read all the stuff about DSI trying to calm the storm down...well I just saw a company trying to stay alive, trying to recuperate a lot of customer they lost with their lack of care to their customers.
I just wanted to explain what happen to me, im not trying to defend one side or the other...me I just feel more confortable to deal with a sportsbook that know my name!!

Eventually people will know the truth. Coming from an insider, all of that letter is just another on of many many many lies produced by one of the many dumb asses that are left in what was once a pretty good sportsbook. Time will tell.
