I noticed that they charge a fee of 8.9% to do a deposit this way while a credit card deposit costs only 3.9%. Why would anyone do an instacash EFT deposit instead of using a credit card?

neteller just rapes everyone with their fees now

8.9%, shit paypal did it for FREE, same service

who wants to do an eft and wait 5 days to get in there??

I wish someone legitimate would step and replace paypal.

I will say this, neteller's wd's are very quick, but with all the fees you pay, they better be

People do this because their credit card, not even the VISA-branded debit card that is linked to their bank account (and operates on THEIR money) won't work any more.

That said, the fees are ridiculous.

Ah yes....I guess credit cards don't want to make money off gamblers. I use Canadian credit cards so I don't have a problem but from what I hear all the American based credit cards gave the axe to online gaming transactions.

I will be starting a money transfer service sometime down the road, thinking of calling it beteller.

And before you punks steal the name, I already registered it.

peteep - The InstaCash deposit is for people that don't use Credit Cards to gamble with and want to send money right away from their bank account.

Western Union charges 6% to 8% and more to send online transfers (depending on which country you are send it to) so NETeller's fee isn't too much out of line.

There are a lot of books out there that are paying the InstaCash Fees these days for you. So the 8.9% isn't an issue...unless your book doesn't cover the fees...I think www.SirBet.com covers all InstaCash fees with deposits of $300 or more and there are lots of others.

IMHO people that are using Credit Cards to gamble with can't afford to gamble because they don't have the cash flow.

I don't think that it's fair to say that people who use credit cards can't afford to gamble. They may have truckloads of money in the bank but simply find credit cards convenient to use. If it costs less to use a CC then it makes sense to use it then pay off the bill when you get it.

I was not aware that books cover instacash fees. That's good to know.

Cheers

peteep _ I understand what you mean by using CC's for convienence, but my studies show that over 75% of CC users at sportsbooks and casinos use them because they do not have the cash.

So back to what I was saying about Books that cover the InstaCash charges...

If you use Instacash at a book like SirBet that covers the fees...then InstaCash is much cheaper to use than CC's and even W.U.

you lose money when they cover the fees on instacash. heres how. there is no bonus at all when fees are covered. you deposit by instacash, don't tell them it was instacash and you get 10% or better..in the case of a first time depositer at GA you would actually lose 11.1% by accepting the fee money instead of the 20% for new accounts.

That seems odd that they wouldn't offer a bonus even if they covered the fees. Anytime I used western union I would have the fees covered and the bonus added. Is it different with Instacash.....for example will sirbet give a bonus and cover the fees?

sfeiner - Your dead wrong dude. Bonuses are not MONEY...you have to roll them several times and taking bonuses usually restricts the cash in your account at most books where you can't withdraw right away.

You don't lose money you just lose B.S. bonus funds.

But then again it's all a matter of opinion...if you want to play with play money like bonues then use your credit card.

Cris and WWTS do insta cash and pay for the fees no matter the amount. I will be making a lot of deposits in the future to these two places.

Also all my Cryptologic casinos such as Sands and Will Hill do the same. I even still got a $40 bonus on my $100 EFT the other night.

Of course that didn't matter after I lost $140 on the first hand.

In a perfect world, I would be able to make NETeller insta cash deposits to a book then withdraw through PPATM. That is still not possible right now...

Well actually I think WWTS does do PPATM payouts.

Only one problem left: I need to get a replacement card.

A lot of books may cover the fee that they would charge but the big question is do they cover the 8.9% charge that neteller charges the client? I don't think so.

They cover both. I just did two $20 ones on Tuesday night at both WWTS and Cris.
