Possibility of a No Juice Sportsbook

I was wondering if anyone thinks that there might come a time where sportsbooks offered no juice. Instead of making their money via the vig, they charged a set amount per bet (i.e. each wager cost $2, returned if the wager wins or mayber a 25-cent fee win or lose) or perhaps a monthly membership fee to be able to make wagers at the book.

Thoughts?

betpci has that, but its only a 100 limit

there is a 39.95 fee per month

its great for football and basketball, but i'd like to see it up to a 500 limit

If it is a set fee per wager then it is still vig, just in the form of lower vig for higher wagers. The membership fee idea is interesting, but in reality that is the same. The more wagered the greater the reduced "vig". If a book did that they'd have an interest in booking as little as possible and as a result would probably have low limits, few offerings, downtime, late lines, etc etc etc. We'll just have to settle for the next best thing -- Pinnacle.

Actually i'm surprised not too see more of this in different ways. There just aren't a lot of guys getting into this wiht innivative ideas to bring customers in. If i was starting a book i would have all kinds of crazy specials and no juice deals with special restrictions.

Bet Flamingo offered no juice and now they are gone stiffing everyone. If it looks too good it probably is.

There's a difference between "no juice" and reduced juice. I'm not knocking your product but if it costs to bet then that's juice.

IMO.............these no-juice threads should be locked and books that offer no-juice/reduced-juice should be dipped in tar and feathered.....then horse-whipped......and forced to book nothing but paddle tennis.........
