I called the number from Canada and it is not in service.

First thing you need to do is dispute the amounts and ask cc to provide proof or info.

KJM, i hope your laws and policies are the same or better than here in USA but here the card holder/account owner is NOT responsible for fraudulent use by a third party i.e. identity theft, overcharges etc, your resposibility is to make the (CC) company aware and let them know you didnt make those purchases....on a side note i recently got a fake email from someone posing as "paypal" asking me to update my "info" with CC# and, get this, my PIN #s!!!! so be careful out there, and remember the CC companies make money for their services but one of their responsibilities is to protect the acct. holder(s) from fraud. good luck!! Many thanks for your fast replies, that's what I know:

JimV. gave me the phone number of Pinnacle Sports,
1800 599 9449, also 1 800 771 8258. They debit my cc-account
with 300USD.

The 2. was a guy called:

Simon Hetzel
93 CRANWORTH GARDENS,
SW9 0NT STOCKWELL
+4402075822522
Great Britain (UK)

He debit my account with 600Euros.

All infos are now at the CCC, they told me that they will make a research and refund me my money. Puh.
And they will send me a new card and number.

But anyway, how they get my cc-number? Paypal ???

Thanks, kjm

Try to keep calm and relax.

Believe me, and a lot of people do not appreciate this
but when ever there is credit card fraud as far as
the credit card companies are concerned 'The Customer
Is Always Right.' No exceptions.
Regards.

Don't bet on your cc number being changed. Both the old and new one are linked to you in case you have made any purchase not yet posted by the vendor.

bets4all is a lottery site in CH. This guy bought 2 tickets (2x300€) with my card-number. The owner of bets4all told me yesterday.

The second was Planet Services. Their name/phone are on my accounts current.
I think, it's a lottery-site too.
Jim V. helped me and phoned to them, see what he mailed me:

I don't know the guy who debits my cc-account with 300USD there.
Maybe the same, maybe not. That by the CCC to find out.

The title of this thread should be Someone steals credit card number and uses it for sportsbook.

You make it sound like Pinnacle is going around scamming people's cc's.

This happens every day and both ways.
