I keep a small balance at Olympic so that I can fool around with Baseball, but I really like to bet football. I usually fund 3 sportsbook accounts with $1000- $2000 dollars. Since I only keep these accounts during the football season why wouldn't I just send them a cashier's check and then when the football season is over (actually I usualy make withdrawls in early January just in case) they send me back a check. No messing around with WU or netteller fees and transfer headaches. Is there anything wrong with this approach?

Yes. You could be fooling around with 08cent baseball at Pinnacle instead of the 20cent ones at Olympic.

Thanks 24-7, I don't play enough baseball for it to make a difference and Olympic offers more betting options on soccer, horses, boxing and the like so I can just fool around till football starts. What about the funding? BTW Pinacle is agreat out and I have an account there.

The only problem with bank checks are fake ones.

Books will need several weeks to clear them.

Withdrawing with via check is not a problem but depositing with a check can be a problem. If you are going to the bank to buy a check, just send your book a wire transfer. It clears much faster anyways.

You wouldn't believe how many people try to deposit with fake bank checks.

Canbet gives me immediate credit on cashier's checks, and I get to reverse the charges via fed ex.However, I am a known customer at Canbet, and I don't know if other books do the same(give immediate credit).
