Those Pittsburgh Pirates uniforms of the late 70`s were some of the most memorable , as they stood out in my mind when i think back at some of the more memorable...Remember those goofy hats they wore , flat on top, and the many mix and match shirts/pants combinations...Or the od "Poop brown" the padres wore, for some reason I`d like to see the Padres use those uniforms again, the old brown and yellow...Houston Astros 'Rainbow Style' was another one you can`t forget,lol..The White Sox mid 70`s wearing shorts, one Bill Veeck innovation,lol that didn`t stick....The best of that era was The Oakland A`s who wore those cool looking vests, now those were great uniforms, I remember in the early 70`s All Star game all the A`s players would wear a different version as they had about 5 different looks, Vida Blue wearing all yellow ,lol..They were the "Swingin A`s" after all...
