Do you guys move it into neteller as you need it or do you just leave neteller loaded. I have my checking account linked and have most of my football bank roll sitting in that.

I mean I used to leave 10 dimes sitting in several books and never really worried about it until recently. Should you have the same concern about leaving 10 dimes sitting in neteller.

I wouldnt leave that much just "sitting" there, but that's just my opinion. You just never know what's going to happen.

harrington, even if you claim to be a complete a-hole. I'll answer that - lol - I feel comfortable keeping as much in NT as I do in the safest sportsbook, though usually I have probably one-half to one-third of that amount in NT at any given time. Would I keep 60-75% of my bankroll in there? No. But my mom raised me to be a Fiscal Conservative when she saw that the Hare Krishna just weren't in my future (I don't like being deprived of protein for weeks on end).

I would not like too take a chance like that, but it totally depends on one thing, just as in sportsbooks.

If you wake up and the funds are gone, will you be very emotionally mad and have financial struggles because of it?

If so, then it is not wise to have it there.

Harrington,

Easy answer...keep what YOU need at the sportsbooks and neteller. This may mean either a daily or weekly evaluation and movement of money accordingly. You should never PARK money at any of these places. If you're not using it, put it back in your checking account(You can always send it back) Too many people treat these places as banks. If I had to choose where to keep more money it would be neteller versus the casinos. That way it's only one step from my checking versus two.

Rumor has it Neteller is moving into new markets i am not worried at all with my $ there but since it only takes me 36 hrs or less usually to transfer back and forth from my checking acct why leave it sitting in your Neteller acct. (just in case you want to be cautious).

I'm not the least bit worried about Neteller absconding with my funds.

Two worries I do have:

1. Some computer / technical glitch wipes out all their records of how much money I have on account. With the backup systems I assume they have in place, it's highly unlikely this will happen.

2. A bigger concern is the fact that, depending on which book you deal with, some websites ask for your Password while others ask for your Secure ID. Theoretically, two books (or, more likely, two employees from separate books)could combine forces to get access to your account and your money.

It's never the books asking for passwords. You only have to enter your password if the Neteller window pops up.

You're probably right, Slash.

A lot of books ask for the Secure ID, but it does seem to be only the Neteller popup windows asking for the Password.

As a rule guys you should be changing passwords at all these places. I don't care what anyone says. Every other week or so I change mine around. Probably more than necessary but when it comes to my money I'd rather err on the side of caution.

I wouldnt leave $10 grande sitting in Neteller, of course that amount is much more to some of us than others. As an example, $10,000 in The Shrink's pocket is probably the equivalent to $100 in others pockets!.......

A great point that is often overlooked, I don't do it weekly, but every season I make changes. It also should go without saying that you should never use the same password at any two books (let alone all of them).
