I have a fool proof way of NEVER paying cash advance fees/interest rates ever again. Its through using paypal..i have done this multiple times so trust me it works..
Here's how.
1)You need two separate and distinct pay pal accounts... no biggie, you already have an email at aol, sign up for one at yahoo and you are set there
2)validate both the accounts with a bank account so that you can withdraw the cash from paypal free of charge, will take 2 days to hit your bank account.
3)the way it works is this..Lets say you have a credit card with a 2000 limit, but they only allow 500 for cash. Well when you send "Cash" to someone by paypal, its considered a purchase, not a cash advance...therefore you can use your entire limit AND not incur the min fees at a bank or ATM for doing a cash advance OR the ridiculous daily APR that comes along with it. So you send cash from one pay pal account to the other..now pay pal will charge you 2.9% plus .30 cents..which for 1000 is a cost of 29.30, MUCH MUCH better than what you are looking at forking over if you went to a bank and did the same exact thing.
