Dude what do you think of this:

Costa Rica -140
Draw +225
Canada +320

United States -400
Draw +350
El Salvador +900

Mexico +125
Draw +210
Brazil +180

Jamaica +400
Draw +230
Colombia -165

I've layed $ on:

Canada +320
US-El Salvador DRAW +350 (strictly value play)
Mexico +125
Jamaica-Colombia NO opinion, I like Colombia but wouldn't lay the chalk

So i'm laying 3 units for a comeback of +7.95 units.

Any opinions?

Your Honor you're more loyal to the CR soccer team than any Tico. I've layed my money against them, I guess I could alwyas take the draw

I'd rather take the cash than being loyal to a bad team. Remeber what they say, brother: "My favorite team is the one that makes me money"

I'm glad we won, but after watching the atrocious performance by Canada in the second half, the old saying "it's better to be lucky than good" comes to mind immediately.

Man how many times is the US going to get underestimated. Mexico is sending about a 75% team, Brazil a 25% team, and the Ticos have to deal with Steve Sampson

I would be quite surprised if the US didn't win this, about the only thing that would prevent a win is that final played in Mexico, but I get a sense the time has come for a win in Azteca. I was quite surprised with some of the players left off the Mexico squad considering the US had to take players off club games and for the most part came up with a good side while all Mexican players are on vacation and some players I would have expected to be there are not. I don't know what LaVolpe is doing considering Mexican press is saying his job is on the line. One thing is for sure if they lose to the US again, on home turf, he is as good as gone and will wish he brought up some better strikers and a little better backline.

Most amazing thing is what the hell is up with this draw? Mexico gets Honduras and Brazil while the US gets El Salvador and Martinique. Lucky for El Tri is that their competitors obliged them by bringing extremely "experimental" squads, but that sounded like they wanted to make sure that at least some of the 108,000 seats in Azteca were full.
