He CANT think he could DENY it,,, with todays DNA evidence????? Is he SAYING he didnt Rape her???
One of my Clients SAID they were about to get back th DNA evidence,,,, HAVE they gotten it yet???
and wht is this Proving,,, what Evidence is it??? PUBES??? Stains???

DNA info should be in tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. The victim was taken in for a "rape test". Assuming that it does come back a DNA match(and word is that it will), then it comes down to whether or not it was consensual.

Regardless, the attorneys will eat this girl alive on stand & the DA knows it.

He's been married for over a year! what took him so long. This is not the 1st time these two have met. His wife is getting ready to leave him unless she changes her mind. He was alone with her because he wanted to, cause he always has 4 or 5 body guards. If he is charged it is unlikely that there will be a plea bargain due to the laws in colorado for such a charge.

Don't jump to conclusions. She talked to her friends about this for 12 hours before notifying the police. That alone is suspicious and damaging to her credibility.

TT, if she was hysterical and claiming rape and security was there isn't it odd that they didn't call the police? I'm not trying to start a running argument, I just feel it's unfair to assume guilt when we know so few actual facts about this case.

Zorb, I don't think that is correct. I could be wrong(way too much info)-I'll dig into it tomorrow.

I have someone "in the know" out there, and they are throwing their arms up at this point. Her history is a mess, the DNA will prove sex...it's just a big mess. No one really knows what to do.

The DNA evidence is basically irrelevant unless Kobe says he did not have sex with her - then if there is a DNA match he has a big problem -so what if there is a DNA match - he will say they had sex and it was consensual.

I personally would never convict anyone (without a history of prior rapes) of rape where the girl went back to the room willingly unless there were serious bruises to the girl because I just would have no way of knowing beyond a reasonable doubt what actaully happended in the room - it is all he said v. she said.

Why do you guys think this could be settled out of court? If the District Attorney's office chooses to prosecute Kobe it does not matter what the girl wants - it is them v. Kobe.

If he raped that girl then he needs to spend a long time in prison. If she said yes and then "changed her mind and decided to get paid" then she's pathetic. Rape is an evil crime and I think anyone guilty of it should do hard time. But I also think it's up to the jury to decide.

Seymour, that's exactly what they were talking about. The District Attorneys' decision, for this region, would over-ride everything else. Sounded like they were trying to imply if it happened in another jurisdiction, or state, it could have been settled out of court. I'm no expert on U.S. law, but this is U-G-L-Y no matter how you slice it/

I am not an expert, but this is what I recall reading regarding rape.
At the hospital, they also do an examination to determine if it was a "forceful" sexual encounter. This includes brusining, tearing, etc that are not commonly found in consensual sex. I do not know how "accurate" these test are, ut I do believe they are part of any rape or sexual assualt case.

Anyone with more insight,please share

from what i heard today kobe and his posse were the only ones on the floor - so, once again, this info is bogus.

as i said from day 1 - kobe NEVER gets convicted of anything here and this case NEVER gets to trial.
