slim,

I have acollection of baseball, basketball and football cards that i have collected over the years. I started collecting about 1988 or so when David Robinson came into the picture. If you are just starting to or want to start a collection, let me know. Don't start collecting from new and unopened packs. They can run 2-5 dollars a pack and you don't know what you're getting. Brand new cards are very unstable as far as price goes. If you buy cards that are at least a couple of years old, a player has had a chance to show his stuff and it gives you a better idea if his card is worth keeping or trading.

if you want to email me let me know.

Slim,

There are thousands of places online you can buy/sell/trade sports cards. Just a few

ebay.com
teletrade.com
beckett.com
waxpack.com
ubid.com
yahoo.com

there are thousands of others. The economy is bad that means lots of people are trying to get rid of things like this to get some extra money. I have so many Ripken, Boggs, Canseco, Clemens,Griffey, Sheffield, Thomas, Gonzalez and Bonds rookies it is unbelievable. They really arent worth much.

I was reading where a guy sent in a 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle card to PSA and got a PSA 10 Gem Mint on it. Holy Shit that card has to be worth a fortune. It is still the Only PSA 10 ever given to a 1951 Bowman Mantle.

Don't buy older cards from ebay. I heard most of the sellers have already been through those cards and nothings left but crap.
