OK, so the Spurs didn't get Kidd. They still have a lot of margin under the cap, who says they have to spend it all this off season. maybe they got for 2 or 3 solid second tier guys and set their sights for next years crop of free agents.

"Kobe receives the pass from Parker, throws it in for Duncan. Duncan scores!"

Does this make sense to anybody else?

What other scenarios can you think about that might be plausible. (For salary info go to HoopsHype , very interesting for the B-Ball junkie)

I have only said it for years, Kobe is going to end up in Chicago. He won't go somewhere he can't be the big man in town. And only he would even dare try to follow in the footsteps of MJ. Only other place I could see it working out is NY or even the stupid ass Clippers. Now that would be a beauty, but hey that is a guaranteed money maker for the guy and he gets to have his own team with no disruption in life. Only imagine the bad blood that would create in battles for LA. Oh that would be some beautiful stuff. Only thing is Donald Sterling keeps trying to convince us he actually intended to play in the CBA but they wouldn't let him. If not for that I would say the Clips would be a perfect match, Kobe would be a bonanza for the Clips as he has the fan base right there and can fill the building and road buildings for years.
