Him and Domi should become instant best friends. He is a nice piece to a team's defense, but he didn't handle the #1 role in San Jose very well and $2 million seems a bit high. Surely there are other guys out there who can do equally good a job without the baggage of being seen as a dirty player. He gives almost no offense, he can't do anything on the power play, his penalty kill is mediocre...the guy basically is good for the neutral zone trap and for keeping opponents weary with their heads up at all times. Poor man's Scott Stevens would even be stretching it. Leafs do need that defensive help though...
