Hey all,
I'm relatively new to this forum and have been betting offshore for only a few months. I haven't been stiffed by any books yet and of the sportsbooks I have dealt with so far, Royal seems to have always sent me my money through Neteller in the least amount of time. I've received about four payouts from Royal so far that have been processed the same day every time. I've been following all the posts about Royal and got a little nervous yesterday so I requested a full withdrawal of just over two dimes, which was all winnings, and it was all in my Neteller account when I just checked a couple of minutes ago. I hope Royal doesn't really have any problems that'll hinder its ability to stay afloat in the offshore industry. I plan to play there again as soon as all this hype dies down a bit. Anyway, I just want everyone to know that I got a payout despite all the talk about it being a dire financial circumstances.

Exactly, codeworks ... the nerve of this guy using George Costanza's preferred nickname, "tee-bone".

Glad to see everyone reporting they got paid, I think it would be wrong not to support royal after getting a payout due to all the bashes towards them. Some may say, big deal they're suppose to pay, well my comment to that is, after reading all these forums you would think we may not get paid.

I wouldnt get too comfy though. There is more bad news likely at this point still.

After what happened with Olympic I would expect book-to-book transfers to stop there any day and others to follow suit.

If the Dutch continue to operate on the cheap then this is going to get ugly.

I just picked up my Western Union for 2 dimes from Royal - there Neteller was dry so they sent my request by Western Union free of charge.

Royal may be the only "stiff" book that pays there customers within minutes. Thanks Royal - I plan to reup for 5 dimes for football.

Buzzsaw:

I don't have much of the information on what kind of deal Olympic/Royal was working on and fell apart but the fact that Olympic was interested in them over the past few months mean anything? I saw somewhere else , that the reason it feel apart was cause Royal started talking with more investors. If that is true and thats the ONLY reason the Olympic/Royal deal didn't work out, why wouldn't they be stable? Olympic at one time showed interest?

IB,
So far Royal has not returned money advanced by Spiros. They are spoon-feeding the operation even as the current run picks up steam from what I can tell.

Its my believe that there are no longer any serious offers. And even though no one questions that the Dutch have money they sure have a hard time getting their hand out of their pocket.

Jacks,
Good points..all of them. I wish i knew the premium Spiros was willing to pay. I believe it was a great deal for Royal. And yes the Dutch got caught looking at other offers when they agreed not to. Remember, the Dutch deny it but its pretty common knowledge.

Royal has value. Spiros thought so and thats good enough for me.

I asked a Royal insider what the chance of Royal going bellyup was and his reply was 100 - 1 against. (although he wouldnt book it

Big deal. Spiro is pissed that his deal fell through. He's as onesided as they come, a very sore loser. When pinnacle cut them off, then I'll be worried.

No problem at all, you are welcome to visit Home Star Entertainment headquarters.

Please contact first Mr. Freddy Konnings at this local phone number:

(599-9) 7341114

He will give you the proper instructions to reach our facilities and will receive you as well.

Drunk,
If I can find where they take the calls, move the lines, ect. I will put a $100 in your Homebets account. You don't owe me anything if I can't.

ps- I hear Pinnacles following suit

Drunk has a good point. Assuming that the "public" info is right, Spiro should be pissed about them talking with the "Canadian investors" during what was supposed to be his exclusive negotiation time.

I'd say FU too....

The situation with Royal may be deteriorating rapidly. They apparently are not paying Oly back the downpayment that they had put down.

I wouldn't have my $$$ sitting there right now....

TT,
To be fair to Royal it's more complicated than that. I believe Royal will pay back Spiros it will just take a little time.

This turns out it was not a traditional bridge loan (as some stupid site called SBR reported a week ago

). The money, or at least a good chunck, was used to buy equipment, computers, ect. Royal wants the equipment returned of course.

This looks and sounds worse than it is imo.
