John Valby!! Boy is that a name from the past. He played at my college back in the 70's. My vote is for Don Rickles in his prime. Also enjoyed Dice and Sam Kinnison but then too many people copied their act.

Don Rickles was HOT, remember when he was on Carson? Great material LIVE off the cuff.
Sam Kinnison's stand-up routine is next to none. Had the oppurtunity to see him twice at the Comedy Store and he blew eveyone away...along with his voice...Ahhhhh! Ahhhh!
He was a In-your-face comedian.
Robin Williams standup routine in the early days back in 1977 was his best.
