If they go , it can`t possibly be looked at and counted the same as if they had won with the Jazz and Sonics ....

What about Malone, Alonzo and Kidd to the Mavs? I think it would still count as well.

I can see Kidd moving on and "counting" because his career is not on its last leg....Kidd could end up playing for his next team for 6-7 yrs

I agree...man that would be some sight though...no doubt both can still play...and both were so close with their respective teams that they will always be associated with...Payton and Malone are still borderline all stars.....
