Little off topic but I got Satelite Radio and I love it!!

This thing is great man... I have not listened to any of my CD's since installing it in my car. I put it on the old school hip-hop channel and ROLL OUT!! They even have live concerts and stuff! I highly reccomend getting it in your car or home. You wont be dissapointed no matter what kind of music you listen to.

Sirus or XM?

Am looking into it. Think it would be great for finding new music. And where I am at, not much variety on the radio.

Not sure I am in the car enough to justify it.

Everytime i hear something regarding satelite radio, i picture driving around with a big dish on the roof of the car..

I liked the ads, with Bowie and Snoop falling thru the roofs..Funny shit.

I do need to get it though, can't stand 90% of the shit i am hearing anymore..

I got XM..It's funny because sometimes my friends and I take the long way or just drive around for no reason because of the songs that come on. Brings back a lot of memories listening to the old school stuff. Thats why I want to get one for my house also. Best part about it is NO COMMERCIALS!!! You get two ESPN stations, fox sports, MSNBC, E!, Discoery etc...
Those stations have commercials but the music channels dont.

I rode with a hommie who had XM last time I was in the US. I loved it. What really sux is that in C.R satellite services don't fvcking work. No GPS, no satellite radio... shit, you can barely get a GSM phone down here.

Direct Tv has some great channels here in Costa Rica for music, but in the car...best to burn a bundle of mp3's, and load up the player.

I got XMradio in my car this past Xmas. It fukkin KICKS ASS! I haven't listened to FM since I got it. If you can't find a station you like then you might as well not even have a car radio. Great for travelling down south where all the regular stations are country music jesus saves hee-haw shit. My favorite station is Channel 48 Squizz.

We have XM at work. Great variety of songs, but I have noticed that the transmission is sometimes a little spotty. Maybe it's my area or how they have it installed, but sometimes it will just start cutting off. Very annoying.

Yeah you gotta make sure the antenna spot is proper....It only does that to me in the car if I go under bridges or sumthin

It was nice to have on the trip to Vegas. When we got tired of music we just put it on the comedy channel and listened to stand up for a couple of hours..we was rollin!
