As an added note I would love to see a poll of all players and bookmakers created to see what they feel is good criteria for judging a good-bad line.

I think one of the big problems is that some people disagreed that the moneyline which was 250 points off was not wrong. However, if it was a pointspread that was 4 points off would posters have thought the same thing?

If anyone has opinions (including bookmakers) of what they feel are the criteria for bad lines a poll would be good or an email to me at betCBS.com

When this is resolved I will post more exactly on my website what is a good-bad line.

I like this idea. do any books want to put in their defination of a bad line. this would write it in stone and avoid any further disputes.

As much as I hate fine print it is getting to the point where we need some of these things spelled out clearer than they are. What is an "active" account. What is a "bad line" and so on...

Props to these guys if they can take a negative situation and turn it into something positive for the players.

No need for rules, just use common sense.

That would leave out too many posters.

But seriously, as we have seen, too many players have a different opinion of what constitutes a bad line and their are too many books all too willing to cry bad-line or take a shot themselves. A clear definition from a book will leave them and the player with less wiggle room the next time this happens.
