We all sometimes poo-poo the value of customer service. Books have so many rules, and change them so frequntly, that we can make honest mistakes.

I did that this morning. I made a wager, in error, and I know, per the rules "All wagers are final".

Called the CS rep, who obtained manager approval, and voided the wager (probaly not that much action since there is still a long tiome to the game).

They could have told me I was shit-out-of luck, but they didn't. All taken care of while I was on the phone. Thanks to all the CS people we give a hard time to.

assassin - Didn't you just have a problem with getting a Bonus in your acct the other day and and complained about it here and they Bent-over-backwards and gave you the line you wanted AFTER-the-fact?

And now you made a MISTAKE BET? And of course they kissed your rear end again and changed your bet? Probably because they KNOW you post here at the Rx.

A GOOD EXAMPLE of The Power of the Rx...working for a gambler.

WatchDOG sites are a GOOG THANG!

Good Luck and remember to check your toes today

The bonus issue was an error, or poor 1st attempt at CS by the book in question. They did ultimately rectify it, so I was happy with them and will continue to give them business in the future.

This issue was purely MY FUALT, 100% MY FUALT. I admit that, I was just saying that it is nice to see that books appreciate quality customers and can accomodate them.

This error on my part was with a different book. I did not mention the RX, have never mentioned the book here or responded to any thread about them here, in fact, I learned about them outside of the RX. Perhaps they appreciate the fact that I am not a bonus whore (anymore?) and that even after surpassing my rollover requirement I continue to book wagers with them and have not requested a payoff.

That said, I am fairly certain some books know who I am from the RX, as I have praised a few I like.

Vegas here I come, baby.

INTUI....While I agree with you that posters have a certain power posting at the RX..I do not think this makes the books quiver in fear. I also know for a fact that the "poster power" would not extend into trying to cheat the book by posting erroneous info to gain something

Assassin...I agree the great CS of books do not get enough credit IMO

5dienms did that for me about a month ago
took phillies in a parlay when i meant to take the pirates
ironicaly i wouldve won if they didnt change it but they were very courteous and even though it was a small wager i appreciated it
it was 5 mins after the bet went through so it makes more sense for them to have a happy customer

Assassin- Your first post was a good example of a book taking care of business. Good customer service is invaluable in any business but I think it's important to remember that how you're treated by an offshore book depends on how you treat them. It works both ways. I feel if you're courteous and speak to them professionally, it can get you a lot more than if you get on the phone and rip them.

jjgold- The customer service at bet365 was excellent. I agree. I closed my account there only because their juice just got outlandish. Their straddles are way too high and the 20 cent baseball line is too much. But a solid book and good customer service.

rpm-never had any complaints about bhb, they seem to know their bases are not comptitive right now. Will go back to them for foots and baskets.

soccer-True, true, true. In gambling, as in life, one is treated as one treats others. I firmly believe that.

CS means everything to me. Its another one of those responsibilities a book should take just because they hold the money. Atleast treat me with respect while I'm paying you
