ACC Florida St. and Miami

SEC

Tennessee
Florida
Georgia (just the east)

Alabama
Auburn
LSU
Arkansas

South Carolina, KY and Ole Miss are getting better also...SEC Top to Bottom (well maybe exclude Vandy) are still #1 if you think different you are just kidding yourself.

SEC is better than ACC. Also Wake is on up and up and Va Tech is on decline so i think Wake one day very soon will be able to stay close to a team like VA tech but NOt Miami or Florida St. still.

Voltitan,,,,WHATEVER , VA TEch is HARDLY on the decline!

Plus the ACC has Maryland, Virginia, Clemson, and Ga Tech,

The three powerhouses Mia FSU and V Tech give the ACC the edge now...

I love the SEC! But most of the time they will not have as much power as the ACC big 3......

SEC top to bottom is the best conference in the land period.

Miami is now the best team in the ACC as I don't respect FSU at this time. In a head to head tournament I feel the SEC would beat the ACC.

VT is not for real - never has been - they are going to have problems if they can't get UCONN and the Central Michigans on their schedule - they have fooled everybody by playing nobody -Pitt and WV have been down - even against Cuse they do not have a winning record over the last 10 years - in fact, tell me one stud team they have beaten in the last 10 years other than when Miami was down too - they are frauds and will get exposed by playing above average talent.

And that's why when you turn on the TV on Sunday you don't see an VT alumni other than Vick.

Yep, as I expected - just looked at VT's schedules for the last 5 years - they typically play Western Michigan, Central Michigan, UCONN, Arkansas State, Temple, Rutgirls, Pitt, West V, BC and Virginia

Last year they played Texas A&M (big deal) and LSU.

No team has ever masqueraded like this team has.

And they do not have ONE signature win in the last 10 years - Miami when they were on probation does not count and I do not consider Cuse a signature win either.

Seymour as a Canes fan I can't agree with u more, VT is like Kansas State they look to schedule the sisters of the poor for non league. VT has James Madison this season what a joke. If Beamer believes he can beat Miami yearly he better look in a mirror, Miami recruits better players, has better facilities and plays a better non league schedule

Seymour,

Va Tech beat a very good TEXAS A & M team ON THE ROAD last year, when they boasted umpteen consecutive HOME WINS...

I watched that game carefullly because I thought they may not be so good, but V TECH DOMINATED that game and won something like 13-3, though it could have been a lot worse...

Their DEFENSE manhandled them in their own backyard!

They also beat LSU!!!

Va Tech is well coached, make that VERY WELL coached with BEAMER at the helms, their running backs are terrific, they are young and will only get better...

They have a defensive superstar who also returns punts that got hurt towards the end of last year or Va Tech may have had even a better season...

Just because they played in a weak conference doesn't mean they can't play well against the top 20 teams...

We will certainly learn a lot more about them this year and finally, Va Tech will get a chance to compete at the level they deserve...

THE SHRINK

So in the past 10 YEARS their big wins both came last year against one team that did not finish in the top anything and LSU at home - very impressive - I will give them credit they are still fooling people.

How'd they do last year against a 4 win Cuse team?

They lost in OT at Syracuse...

So what?

And I was only naming the teams I remember them beating last year, as my memory isn't good enough to go back 10...

They also whipped UVA, but I guess that doesn't count for much either..

If you wish, I will call some alumni and list a whole bunch of great teams they have beaten over the past 10 years, including Miami!!

What I think you and Chris fail to realize is how YOUNG this Va Tech team was last year and how much better they figure to be this year!

Shrink,
Miami is back baby, I have nothing against VT, I do think they are a very good program. Miami has some holes to fill but they have recruited very well under Larry Coker. I am excited to see Marcus Vick play, heard that he is unreal

Shrink, I did not know you were a fan. That makes anything you say irrelevant.

Seriously though, can you show me one signature win in the last 10 years (probation Miami does not count) - I am talking about Tenn, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Ohio State, UF, FSU, Miami since they go off probation - oh, I see, they just happended not to play any tier one football over 10 YEARS!

No, UVA does not count - they have been a bad program forever - under a new coach they were decent last year for the first time.

Seymour,

Perhaps you fail to realize that so many of the teams you mentioned have REFUSED to play against VA TECH!!!

It's all been well documented...

I wonder why that is/was?

Now this year, we will have to watch and see, won't we?

BTW, where are they ranked in the Pre Season polls?

I believe they should be TOP 10 material, but I really don't know so could u tell me?

Ken
