I didn't see anything about this here, so I'm going to post a little info.

The Vault was yet another high-interest scheme in CR. Two days ago police raided the San Jose office. The owner, Roy Taylor, supposedly killed himself (while in police custody - haha...)

Story here

I hope nobody here invested. It should be another lesson. If it looks too good it probably is.

Thanks for the read Nanuk. I'm sure the posters will appreciate it.

My predicitons for this post:

JJGold will be in here soon making comments such as "Costa Rica" is the pit of the world. One more example to testify of this is these latest happenings.

And so will the rest of the C.R. bashers fan the flames of an ignorant fire. They will then link all the books locate din C.R. to these scammers.

My advise: People; do NOT be stupid. And this applies for life.

If you will invest your money with a Ponzy scheme, you are the only party at fault for allowing anybody to buttfvck you. Period.

If you work hard to make your money, make sure you work hard at keeping it.

If you're sending your money off-shore, make sure you do research first.

I'm sorry for those who lost their money to this new scam.

In today's Tico Times says he was "planning to get legal". Apparently he was trying to liquidate what he said were $20,000,000 in assets.

I also heard that the OIJ may be investigating the police to see about this "suicide".
