The Corvette didn't sell much at all and they were about to scrap the car until they put in a V8 and then they couldn't produce them fast enough.

From one of the higher end producers....

The aesthetically displeasing Porsche 914. A rare mistake.

the Grotesque Gremlin.
the Putrid Pacer.
the Fricking Fuego.

I think these fit the bill.

Ford Edsel was a real loser.

The Yugo was probably the worst piece of shit assembled and called a car.

The Ford Edsel was a car that very EXPENSIVE to produce for Ford because of all the new Space Age Features they designed just for the Edsel like the Carousal speedometer and other dashboard features.

The problem was the car had all these expensive and advanced features...and the car looked like SH*T ! It was awkward looking...so no one bought it.

Ford lost allot of money on the Edsel...and the whole project was a failure.

But it was a fantastic car and still is today with features not every seen since.

------------------------------------

the 2 WORST CARS are probably the Volkswagen THING or the Yugo..the Yugo may win the prize as it was found out to be made with USED and faulty parts.

Yugo..Yugo..Yugo-slovia

The 914 was not a bad car though ... in fact it could arguably be considered the forerunner of a long tradition of German cars that shared a common platform and have consistently been popular and in most cases hihg-rated:

Gen 1: Volkswagen Scirrocco/Porsche 924/Audi _____ (forget what it was called)

Gen2: Volkswagen Corrado/Porsche 944

Gen3: Porsche 968 (which I personally love and used to own)

A lot of people panned the Ferrari Dino too, but without it there never would have been the twenty-five year and counting tradition of the 300 series, which has almost always been an outstanding entry-level exotic (early 80's notwithstanding, but that was a terrible era for performance cars across the board.)
