Just wanted to get some opinions on this, given the current climate. Would be an under $1,000 withdrawal, so is Western Union safe? Would still have to show an ID, as the book sends it to my real name, but the ID has my soc sec # on it. Neteller is my other alternative, but with the amount of times Ive made EFT transfers, would this make the bank suspicious with a big incoming deposit, after many withdrawals? would the bank perhaps put a hold on it, if suspicious. Our are neteller transactions still confidential and all even though they comply with the Patriot Act? Like to get it Western Union, but dont like the idea of them wring SS # down, although they already have it anyway from another withdrawal I did and they took my ID and wrote ss# down. Is W.U. the safest (not necessarily the cheapest) way to go, or is Neteller a better and safer option. Any input or opinions out there I would welcome. Not too worried about it, but dont want to be trapped with a "hold" or some crap like that, or an interview to have to deal with. Thanks
Thanks guys. I know the climate is still safe, unless the Senate perhaps makes a move in the future. I just dont want the hassle of a "hold". My friend sent in to Party Poker, and they had a hold on his deposit thru Western Union, and this was very very small deposit, fellas. Well they ended up sending it thru, after he called Western Union and spoke with "high security". They told him the name sent to was on a government watch list. Hell all this watch list stuff just seems like a bunch of tacticts, but I believe neteller may be the way to go fro me fron now on.
