Can someone explain why some shops don't allow you to parlay the runline and total of the same game in the same parlay.I have been thinking about it and spoke with other people about it.The only thing I can think of is a edge it may create for example if you have a low total on a game then maybe you have a edge if you take the run and a half and vice versa.Let me know if I have answered my own question or am flat out wrong.

From my understanding Nicky that's pretty much it. Books fear they will get "double banged" with a -1 1/2 and over or vice versa in a parlay.

If you look carefully there is a popular book that does let you do it.

(Hint: I beat them for 15K)
