ANYONE GOOD WITH OLD SCARY MOVIE TITLES?

For the last week i have been trying to remember the name of an old scary movie, and for the life of me i cant figure it out.

the story line was about a family that lived in a house that was evil. there was also a musical jewelry box that was somehow involved.

one specific scene that i remember is when the house possesses the mother and she tries to drown the son. meanwhile, the father, who is in a wheelchair forces himself to jump in the pool and save the kid.

lol, i know this is confusing, but if anyone knows the movie im talking about i would appreciate the title.

it might be burnt offerings. at the end of this movie i remember part of the house falling on the car.

I don't remember?? If the movie you're thinking of had some dead plants come back to life and the pool tries to kill people then it's the same one...lol

cant remember about the plants, but i remember that the mother has something to do with the pool trying to drown the son.

i think this is the movie. at the very least, the father pictured on the movie cover looks like the father in the movie. thanks man
