I can't say that I am surprised when I read a thread that a member of this or any other site is being slow payed or even stiffed by a book. Whether or not they advertise here or another site does not dictate whether it can happen in the future. I have yet to hear of a sportsbook that opens its financial records to a site they would like to advertise at. Sure knowing the people behind the book can add some credibility but in the end we are still taking a chance when we send our money offshore. Greed found its way into this industry a long time ago and now books will open just about every other day with offers of huge bonuses looking to lure greedy gamblers looking for free money, match plays or Bonus Plays, this in a nutshell is what creates problems such as slow or no pay. What if all books offered no bonuses and you could deposit and withdraw at will with no 30 day stipulations? Where would you send your cash then, a small fairly unknown book or a bigger well known establish book? I would believe that a majority of members here that actually wager would choose the bigger book because they are established and with more players logically they should have more cash on hand.

Bonus offering and bonus hunters have helped create the problems we now face, as long as there are people looking for 20,30 & 40% bonuses there will be books opening with little or no start up cash taking post up money hoping to build a bankroll. Eventually these books will hit a period where the players hit a streak and then the cashflow problems are brought to light.

Before you send your hard earned money offshore take some time to research different sites and info available to you in order to make an educated decision. I have and will always wager with a big book and bypass the bonuses, The books (2) that I wager at are big in the industry and won't shill for them. The point of my post is simple.

If you're going to gamble,it's better to do so on the game and not the Sportsbook.

Ragu

Great post. Would much rather send my money to pinnacle with no bonus than one of these sham books for 50% bonus,

A bonus is worthless if you're never going to get paid out.
