Honestly, I missed this entire thing. I had no idea that it would turn into the pissing match that it did, and have no idea why.

Is it time to "start over" and find the facts?

(or is it even worth it?) The way Peep made it sound, the deletion of the thread was much bigger than the thread itself.

Why did Major Wager delete the Agent X thread?

Because they got busted defending DISHONORABLE Books.

Why did Camelot bettors get robbed?
Because they trusted Major Wager.

Why did NAB players get robbed?
Because they trusted Major Wager.

TTinCO:

If you indeed want an opinion, I read the thread. There really wasn't a lot of "info" in it that isn't in McIrishes summary here:

Bodog summary

Based on the info in the missing thread, it was tough to tell for certain whether BoDog was at fault, or the player was taking a shot. My gut feeling was and still is that the player was taking a shot.

Most of the stuff in the missing thread was McIrish, somewhat recklessly in my opinion, assuming that BoDog was guilty without knowing all the facts. He did, however, push for the Shrink to get to the bottom of the matter, which apparently never happened.

-------------------------------

Assuming that this thread is gone forever, let's fast forward to the present. The Major has a grudge with BoDog over the advertising stiff job that apparently happened, so I am discounting his comments on this matter as they are severely biased.

Now, looking at the summary that McIrish provided in the link above, it's apparent to me that the player was taking a shot.

By reading the thread, it should be apparent to you also that the player was taking a shot. However, the two things you should ask yourself are:

1. Do you believe McIrish, and that he would only write what he believes to be the truth ?
2. Are you confident that McIrish was told/shown the truth from BoDog, and not sold a "bill of goods" ?

Regarding the first question, if you believe that McIrish would purposely lie in his writeup, then you just don't believe him or the story, and there's not really much point in talking about it anymore.

Assuming that you do believe McIrish is telling the truth (or what he believes is the truth) in the summary, then the MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION to ask McIrish would be "What did BoDog show/tell you to prove their story and make you believe them ?".

Was a VERY obvious decision in this incident. Probably easier to see than the Hammy case though we don't have the "confession" this time. That was about the only piece missing, LOL. BoDog was 110% justified in everything they did. I've looked into quite a few of these things and this was one of the easier one's I have ever seen.

I mentioned it in that thread but if I was the type of player to take a shot at books it wouldn't be BoDog. These guys have their ducks in a row over there.
