I originally entitled this thread concerning Duval being one under bogey through 6 but he parred 7 so I changed the title.

That's all I have is two of Sea's individual match-ups. Rooting for Goosen and Harrington.

Good idea to have this thread here for easy access. Almost made a bit play on Weir.

Pat,

The only two tourneys I get excited about are the Masters and the US OPEN. I've played Augusta and I love watching the train wrecks at the Open. GL on your plays this week.

I'm envious as hell. My buddy played Augusta last year and never let me hear the end of it, LOL. He never told me what he shot though....

Pat,

I promise you he didn't shoot anywhere near his handicap. But it's as perfect as it looks on tv. I didn't even through my cigs on the ground, I started too and was too embaressed. lol...

There's someone in SoCal that's jumping for joy, Mrs. Doubtfire is tied for the lead. Rail's favorite golfer is -3 so far today.

Is that Marc Calcavecia or Cris Patton? Damn, Mark, ease of the brews. He's got to go 260 if he's an ounce.

Brian Davis of England -5 thru 4 holes today! Fastest start in US Open history. He's hit 1 fairway and only had two putts so far.

GUYS,

BE PREPARED FOR VERY LOW SCORES EVERY ROUND IF THE WEATHER HOLDS. FRI AND SAT MID 70'S AND NO WIND....THIS COURSE IS RATHER EASY FOR THE PRO'S IF THE WIND ISN'T BLOWING. I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE IT'S IN MY BACK YARD...I WOULD NOT BE SUPRISED TO SEE A 10 TO 12 UNDER WIN THIS THING IF THE CONDITONS STAY AS THEY ARE TODAY........G.L...............G

G.,

Thanks for the info, I guess the easy conditions explains how Montgomery managed to shoot under par today. Who do you like to win it all?

Picked up Justin Leonard contracts at WSEX at 10 bucks. He is going to be very tough this weekend.

You can't win the tournament on Thursday, but you can certainly lose it.
