Good point Hal. As is usually the case I didn't actually read RPM's post .... my NO MEANS would I ever catagorize BetUS as a top book. All one has to do is read MFG's ordeal with that stiff joint (and there are MANY other) to know that these guys are a bunch of punk thieves.

Look buddy, dont bust my balls. Holden may possibly be the best literary character ever. Salinger's 'Catcher' is a classic which is still relevant even today. BTW, Steinbeck was no slouch either. Not sure who Steinback is though.
