$ 4000 exacta

I was just informed that tcbets.com took a 4k exacta of funny cide/empire maker. Not normally a big deal of a bet in the sports betting world but on a horse race which does NOT effect the pool is pretty big. Put it this way I don't know of any other book that would of taken it.

I have known and played with these guys for many years. Very solid shop.

Krackman, you have good sources. Yes we have booked a $4000 exacta today. I expect to book a lot more on this combo as well as the reverse. Our largest single straight play on the race is $6218 ( an entire account balance) on empire maker to win. We have taken multiple dime across plays. Post time is in less than 2 hours, so if you havent bet already do so and don't get shut out.

ps We have a ticket on funny cide to win the triple crown....that was bet before the Derby.. ouch!!!!

Name a book that will take it I just called five books including e-horse and one said they would do a favor just because it was me and give me 3k the others all said one dime and these are the biggest name books around.

I asked CRIS and JAZZ how much I could get on the race this morning and they both told me for my available if I wanted. I carry a 5 digit figure with both so 4k isn´t the highest limit around.

We lost to the race. We won the matchups and the exactas, but lost on the w-p-s and the tri's. The tri's were a bit of a surprise to us. We thought that since we won the exactas that we would win the tri's also, but this was not the case. The largest w-p-s bet was $7000 across (winner), largest exacta was $4000 ,largest loser was $5000 win-place on Funny Cide. Hey, but we knocked down the Funny Cide triple crown ticket! Thanks to everyone who bet with us.

tcbets............the sad thing as far as booking the horses, you just dont get the action like you used to..i remember when the ponies were the biggest game in town, second to none..

You're right... sharps were all over EM.
Squares were all over FC.

Hence, shops like tcbets got killed, square shops did well.
