DPO:

I'm not from there, but went to visit a friend not too long ago and we went to this "italian-Peruvian" place. Awesome food. the name of the restaurant was Taranta Cucina Meridionale and it's located on Hanover Street in the North End.

I loved the relaxed atmosphere there. Or maybe it was because I was all shit-faced already, but the food is unique.

As I said brother, I'm not form there; but that's a good place to eat. Hope your Pops enjoy it, if he decides to go. If he does go, tell him to talk to Jose Duarte, the chef and owner. Good guy

DPO,

You can never go wrong with Legal Seafoods. Beantown Jim seems to talk a lot about the place and its true. Never had a bad experience there. Also, the North End has many excellent Italian restaurants. There's a nice Hooters by the Fleet Center with great service, and the foods not that bad either.

Hope that helps.
