With all of these posts lately portraying Costa Rica and its work force being mistreated I felt compelled to check for myself. In Journeymanesque fashion I sat down for lunch with Alliwana Duisfuk who moved here from Croatia seeking a better life.
She told me that on any given day she deals with dollars, colones, McDonald coupons, empty cans and just about any other monetary device that you can think of. You see Alliwana works out of the Del Rey as an entertainment broker. She could not be happier with the life that she has chosen and the working conditions provided.
The thing that I most admired about Alliwana Duisfuk is that she told me that her and her friends(co-workers) would never come on the RX and start a thread titled “Customers that stiffed us”, whish is refreshing because we just don’t need those kind of details..........
