Blatant agendas are not going to be allowed on this forum..

If you want to hurt someone, do it elsewhere..

Perhaps our viewers want to know who posted this?

I'll chime in and say this. It's just as shitty for you to expose the poster and remove his book from the forum as it was for sting to come down on JC like he did. When you do that you make urself no better than Sting himself or someone like him.

I have known who Joey C was for quite some time now and know him in the flesh. I have eaten dinner at his table been to his house driven his car and spoke to him in many countries in person and over the phone. I never understood why it was ok to shit on me for me working at a book yet keep it a secret that he had holdings in book(s).

I too agree that he brings much needed value to this forum but disagree to keep his details of holdings of other books a secret. Wether or not he has ties to other books doesn't matter the information and knowledge he brings the forum does.

Jay Leno & Blue Abyss,

If you guys REALLY think it that important to hurt someone, fire away...

I wish you would reconsider though, so I thought a time out while emotions were strong would be a good thing..

I am washing my hands of this but don't forget this saying...

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...

I always have admired you two as posters, and I hope you know you can do whatever you'd like...

Shrink:

What Jay Leno said about knowing me, in the flesh, etc. is 100% true.

I consider Jay to be a good friend and value his opinion, and wish him all the best.

Under the circumstances and being one who had many stones thrown at him over Cris, The info by Sting was very appreciated by me.

Shrink did sum it up best...

"People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones..."

That is the reason to play fair on all issues. Agendas are soon discovered & integrity is lost.

Very interesting info that came forth here this AM.

Let me make a point here, what we do is still a grey area in the US.There are always potential legal problems around the corner for alot of us.To flame someone is one thing. To post specific info and real names sucks. The only time I can think of,when it would be warrented to post someone's real name is someone is a scamming scumbag. Then it may be neede to protect the players. This was not the case here. This was just malicous bullshit done out of spite and vegence,by obviously a very petty, low class individual.

Judge, I agree on the real names, but what about the other content? Was there not some very critical & important info that was tossed onto the table?

There are very good reasons why anyone operating offshore would not want their real name all over the forums.

Just ask Jay Cohen.

General,if it had been stated in an objective manner, sure it should have stayed.I don't think the point of the post was to be informative.I think it was to cause someone potential problems.I read the post before it went. Was definately malicious and intended to cause harm.

General, not sure but think a large percentage of posters here knew that info already.I did,and it has no bearing on my high opinion of JC.

If "a book" is pulling malicious stunts like this, I think the players have a right to know who it was.

Yep, I agree and all that could have been accomplished without the personal info bullshit

TTinCo & DickyW,

No "book" is pulling any "malicious" stunts that I know of...

There was a complete misunderstanding and it is now resolved!

I personally don't feel that JC's business dealings has slanted his opinion on this forum in the least.I have seen him sing the praises of many books that he has nothing to do with.Think he has always kept his objectivity unlike the poster who trashed him.And for the record,he is not really involved in the industry anymore.
