Hold your horses boys when I define dangerous I mean posting wise or writing wise. I have browsed over 15 different forums and have come across approx 34,943 posters worldwide and there is no one like this guy. His writing skills and knowledge is unmatched and I believe he has never lost one thread he was in and seems to bury his opponent. This is the only guy I will not battle with on the boards. I still think though he is an offshore insider of some type with behind the scenes ownership in a major book somwewhere. He knows too much about everything. I also beleive he might have some type of staff working for him in various parts of the country that do research for him. There is know way he can have all this material right at his fingertips at any given time.

I would advise no one to disagree with him or he will make you look like a fool.

This guy would be some moderator too, probably the best there ever was.

Finally I do not believe he is betting his own material in posting contests, someone is feeding him plays . How can you be on every leaderboard for every sport and every year, almost impossible. Usually there are always new guys from week to week or month to month. This guys name is always in the top 5 and wins lots of contests.

Is it ok to bet someones elses plays, especially a professional syndicate type player and use them in contests???

Good thread JJ...

Although Patrick and I have had our differences, he is definitely one poster I don't want to mess with out on an open forum...

He will usually, regularly, and most often, kick my sorry ass, lol...

I still say Pat should write novels and books as a hobby on the side... I would buy them

Phuck I need some sleep this is it my last post. As much as I hate to say this, and I'm sure many of you don't want to hear it, Irishman claims to be an advocate for the player. The BTJ escapade, I feel, was in favor of BTJ. And he backed the book. Yes BTJ could have lied and said he didn't know the game started, but still in the end the rules are stated that no bets can be made after time X. I didn't like seeing him backing the book.

IRISH is very eloquent and intelligent but I don't think that he is dilligent enough in investigating sportsbooks complaints.

He even responded in my SIRBET thread by dismissing the complaints about the book because they are a "solid" shop or something like that. Give me a break, Pat. I am surprised that he did not call Corby@Sirbet a "stand up guy."

Pat is pretty great, a better temperament than I, but I have more killer instinct...oh and I type faster too.

Not sure about Dangerous, but if you want to debate in the forum with Patrick, better pack a weeks worth of chow

The good ole McIrish is an insider, no doubt about it. He's got great UPDATED info every time, he knows his game; he speaks little when he loses, but even less when he wins. Modest fellow, never willing to take credit for killing the books as consistently as he does.

But above all this, his most remarkable virtue is the fact that he is a GENTLEMAN. Not only is he smart to post, he knows his way around with words. Very articulated redaction.

A very honest man, with strong ideas. The kind of guy that would give you his coat in the middle of a snow storm, but will fight you to death if you attempt to take it from him.

I'm out. All this sucking up started to make my lips go numb.

Keep up the good work with T.O.P. club, Pat. Power is the result of sustained effort.

Just saw this and I am still blushing to say the least. What amount did we agree on JJ? Can I send it all to you in 20's? LOL. Most here are being nice and I think most of us understood JJ was just being funny but it is appreciated some of you played along and said good things. Unfortunately for me most of it is untrue. I have had a few small contest wins but anyone can get lucky on those things. I am not in the top 50 handicappers around here as much as I would like to say otherwise.

As far as posting goes I am greatly outmatched by most here as far as knowledge goes. I agree Hammy is twice as ferocious as I am and much brighter to begin with. My move is to bore them to sleep with posts so long that it causes them to fall asleep or move on to another subject out of boredom. Then I rush in to claim victory. LOL. The fact is being an advocate for the players does not mean I blindly support them in every situation.

Anyway thanks for the good words men. The people who responded here I happen to have strong opinions about myself so it is twice as nice to hear.

From all the posts I have read by McIrish he seems to be a classy guy, though I don't recall him being a sharp capper.

LMAO, exactly Eric! I never get mad when someone tells the truth. I can have my books vouch for me, McIrish is no kind of wiseguy, LOL.

What's funny is the more I tell the truth about it the more they think I am being modest. Trust me I would brag my ass off if I was a top capper. I win in one or two sports but most are a fight to stay even in.....
