Is Rudy T being let go by the Rockets or he is just stepping down because of his sickness? I saw a report that Houston is trying to buy out his contract but they didn't state the reason.

This will be a great loss for Houston.

great loss very true, hopefully it's not about sickness, cause then all NBA is affected. He's got personality, always like him.

I think it's a little bit of both. I think Les Alexander expected more out of the team this year, I know he thought the playoffs were a lock with Francis and Yang. I love Rudy T, but his teams have underachieved the last couple of years.

Rumor in Phila is that Larry Brown will step down and head to Houston. He's worn out his plauyers in Phila, and perhaps Iverson showing up 30 minutes before the last game may have been his last straw.
Sorry to bring this post back, bored silly at some relatives (wife's) in Baltimore so I'm reading some random posts I missed.

Barkley on TNT May 23rd, implied Rudy T was sort of pushed out.... Low class by Barkley.

Rudy T will live longer stepping back from the NBA.

Probably another spoiled sob like Steve Francis saying Rudy has to go or he's going. One day they will make a statement to these players and say "ok, see ya!"
