Funny how they don't inform a potential new customer about the " You have to play every day" BS.

I guess they dont want to lose the deposit.

DannyMay:

Go back and ask Priscilla if it's OK to just leave the money sitting dormant in the account for the last 29 days, or if it needs to be bet continuously during the 30 days.

You're calling her a liar because she never stated that the money needs to be Active. You never actually asked her if the money needs to be Active or not, so go back and ask..

Halifax

I asked her " after that can I withdraw "

She said YES

She certainly is aware of the recent controversy concerning the word " ACTIVE ". She should tell a new customer five dimes strange definition of the word active.

She said I have to wager 5 times -- Keep the account FUNDED for 30 days and then I can withdraw.

I am calling her a liar. On that note - I agree with you.

My whole point here is that five dimes gives one set of bonus rules before you deposit, and then changes the rules after you win and try to claim your winnings.

If not then what Hal?
If she would have said you can do that, then the player would do that and still get screwed by your interpretation of the rules page.

What's the difference. If they don't like how you play, that means they can steal your bonus?

Why don't they just steal your whole deposit for you sending them the money and letting them use it for 30 days...

This is the latest way a book prey`s on the addiction of some...KNOWING you can`t let the money sit!

Also it does cutdown on the ridiculous transfer fees, and sending money back and forth...

Only if we KNEW it was SAFE we`d leave it be...just like a bank account!

I just went back in, and once she realized that I knew about this "ACTIVE" controversy, she began to use the word active. In the beginning, when she thought I was just a potential new client, she said the requirement was 5 times play through and a FUNDED account for 30 days.

Once she realized that I knew a little about this controversy, she began changing to the ACTIVE wording.

I'm so sick of these long threads regarding bonuses. when everyone played with locals only did you guys always get into disputes over bonuses with your buddys?! If they take action and pay, anything you're lucky enough to get out of a bonus is just that; a BONUS

Get off of it already. Jesus you are pathetic if you feel the need to avoid the one important issue here & get a new keyboard & use the caps lock key, I'm sure you can afford a cheap keyboard right?

Journey:

They let you withdraw any winnings - it's the deposit that must be kept in for the 30 days.
--------------------------

cecil:

I certainly agree that they should clarify the term "amount deposited remains active in the account for 30 days", as this is most definitely a grey area. What is Active: 1 bet per day, 1 per week, $500 in action per week, who the hell knows ?

One thing I do know though: This guy's account was definitely NOT Active. His deposit remained IN the account for 30 days, but his deposit definitely DID NOT remain ACTIVE IN the account for 30 days.

Being "Active" clearly means betting something more than zero bets and zero dollars over the final 29 days. Clearly, this guy's account was not Active.

I just read this story and i totally agree with you NO WAY they shouldn't pay you your bonus. You played the 5x rollover and the 30 days are up!
An Active acct is an acct that is funded meaning no zero balance.
Last year i opened and acct with a book with a 30 day wait, played there for two weeks did the rollover and just waited out the 30 day period and cashed out.
GL man..In my book your getting fuc*ed after all.YOU PLAYED BY THEIR RULES AND OF THEY DON'T LIKE IT THEY SHOULD PAY YOU THEN CHANGE THEM.

This whole thing could be resolved if they could simply define what an "active" account is. Is it wagering at least 5 times a month? a week? Is there a min. in wagers?

I think the player in question is looking for the quick cash bonus. He read the rules and tried to work it. To prevent this in the future, all 5 Dimes (and other books for that matter) has to do is define what an active acct. means.

I just got a fee from my brokerage acct. because I failed to trade last quarter. I never knew about this rule until I got the fee.. must of been in that mile long fine print.

The customer service clerks are not the end all and be all of information. Yes they try but they cant in a type in dial box every detail of every rule to every customer who has a simple question. Plus these clerks are not the owners. Yes they do their best and type fast. I have asked a 5 dimes customer clerk on Live Chat if a wager would be up soon and they say yes but it does not show up, Ive asked a live chat clerk to check on a line and see if its OK to wager (possible misline) or a parlay combination would be ok (or is it co related) and they do not always answer correctly. Ive had some decisions or information from customer service reps end up being wrong. Its frustrating but this 30 day active rule thing is so clear and it makes a big difference to a book that you look over their site often for 30 days and maybe get used to them and get hooked on their service. That is why there is such a big difference between 6 hours and 29 days even if the action is the same.

I like 5dimes but their policy is total bullshit. If you want to have a 5 times rollover requirement that is fine. To require 30 days plus an undefined amount of action is a total joke.

Shame on 5dimes.
